Unscrew the knobs of each clamp on the press' arm, and insert the top of the screen's frame into it. Lightly screw the knobs back in place to secure the screen, then bring the screen down over the palette. Adjust the screen's position to fit over the palette. Fully tighten the clamp knobs upon completion.
Lay a sheet of paper onto the garment palette and bring the screen back down 3/4 of the way. Slip your hand between the screen and palette, then adjust the paper to where the vinyl decal material will be placed. Lift the screen back up, and mark the corners of the paper on the palette with masking tape.
Place the vinyl ink from the bottle onto the screen with an ink knife, and lay it out horizontally across the screen's top near the frame. The width of the paint should be equal to the width of the squeegee. Flood stroke the vinyl ink on the screen's surface before printing by pulling the ink from the top of the screen down to the bottom. Push it back up to the top upon completion and remove the paper.
Spray one coat of the palette adhesive over the section where the vinyl decal material will be placed. After spraying, lay the vinyl decal material onto the garment palette. The adhesive will prevent the material from moving.
Bring the screen down over the vinyl decal material. Using the squeegee, print stroke the image onto the decal material by pulling the ink to the bottom of the screen, then pushing it back up. This may be done twice to ensure that the ink has passed through the mesh properly.
Lift the screen up slowly after screen-printing the image onto the decal material, and place the newly printed decal onto a drying rack. Air-dry for the time indicated on the decal material package label.
