This antique and craft show occurs the first weekend of every March in Lebanon at the Centre Square Convention Center. Two awards are bestowed during a ceremony at the end of the fair: Best of Show Antiques and Best of Show Crafts. The price of admission for adults is $3, while children can attend free of charge. All the proceeds from tickets and concessions benefit the American Cancer Society. Those wishing to register a 10-foot by 12-foot booth space can do so online.
Mayfest is an art fair held in downtown Lexington, which also features craft demonstrations and displays. The fair is open to the public and free of charge. Over 100 visual, performing and younger artists display their work there. Also included is a petting zoo, children's crafts and pony rides. This event occurs over the Mother's Day weekend and is presented by the Downtown Lexington Corporation. The location of the fair is Gratz Park, which lies between The Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning and Transylvania University.
This fair takes place in Somerset in the south central portion of the state at the Somerset Center of Regional Development. The crafts featured exemplify the styles and traditions of the Appalachian region, specifically the southern and eastern areas of Kentucky that are traversed by the mountain range. Throughout the fair there are many craft-making demonstrations. It is held annually in June and is sponsored by the Kentucky Appalachian Craft Council.
