Paint each side of a paper plate a shade of green and allow to dry. Cut the plate beginning at the outer edge in a spiral shape and cease cutting when you are about 4 or 5 inches from the plate's center, which will act as the snake's head. Draw eyes on the snake head or attach googly eyes. Paint and draw on the snake as desired using a wide color palette. Glue red curly ribbon to the head for a tongue.
Fold a piece of green paper length-wise and draw an alligator shape on one side including a snout, legs and tail. Cut about five or six diagonal slits along the paper's fold, which will act as the back of the alligator. Unfold the paper and create small triangles by folding over the slits you cut. Draw a large mouth on the alligator and cut out the teeth. Decorate the alligator as desired. Cut out small felt triangles in assorted green colors and paste them on for skin texture, and add googly eyes.
Cut a dozen or so 1/8-inch wide strips of orange paper. Make them about 4 inches long and curl them using a toothpick. Cut a rounded, upside-down triangle (1/2- to 1-inch wide) lion face out of card stock and glue it to the center of a rounded, 3-inch piece of card stock. Make ears out of card stock and glue them on the 3-inch piece as well. Glue the curls around the face and draw on a lion mouth. Attach googly eyes and allow it to dry. Glue the back of the lion face on two clothes pins.
Create a jungle diorama by either collecting small jungle animal plastic figurines or cutting out pictures of animals, which you can attach to the diorama box or to small stones. Cut a box as to form a stage for the diorama and paint it green. Use items like green crepe paper, colored tissue paper, and pipe cleaners to create jungle foliage, flowers and trees. Arrange your plants and animals in your diorama as desired.
