How to Design Clothing for Sims

With only a little bit of creativity and a know-how of the "Sims 2" Body Shop, you can design clothing for your Sims character. The "Sims 2" Body Shop provides a wide array of customizations for your creations. You can use MS Paint to design your Sims clothing.

      Click "The Sims 2" Body Shop icon on your desktop or find it in your Start menu under "All Programs" and click it.

      Click on "Make Parts," "Begin New Project" and "Create Clothing" to create a new project. Select the clothing category you are going to make.

      Open Microsoft Paint and choose the template file by clicking "File" and "Open." Edit the following files: The grain file, "GrainName.bmp," and the beta file, "BetaTextureName_beta.bmp." The beta file will allow you to add logos or images. The grain file allows edits on things like top border, shirt length and neckline.

      Save the image and go back to "The Sims 2" Body Shop for a preview. Click the refresh button to allow see your design.
