How to Create 3 Flyers From One Sheet of Paper

Most people would think creating three flyers from one sheet of paper would be a difficult task that requires the skill of a professional graphic designer. But, luckily, there are freeware design resources that make this procedure much easier than it sounds. With minimal instruction, you can create three flyers from one sheet of paper by simply dividing the parameters of the sheet of paper and designing the flyers within those boundaries. All of this can be done with the assistance of these Web tools.

      Access the "Hongkiat for Designers and Bloggers: 11 Free Adobe PhotoShop Design Alternatives" link in your Internet browser. (See Resources.)

      Click "Download" on the site's homepage to begin installing the freeware resource to your computer's hard drive. When the next page loads, click the link to the latest software version download.

      Select the "Run" action when the software's File Download box opens over the Internet browser. Then, click "Run" again to open the executable setup file for the software. The software's InstallShield Wizard will open automatically.

      Click "Next," then select the "Install Now" action in the software's InstallShield Wizard. Once the software is installed, click the "Finish" action and the software will open automatically.

      Click the "File" tab at the top of the software's application window. Then, click "New" to setup the measurements of your canvas. The measurements should be the actual size of one sheet of paper.

      Click the "Inches" tab in the "Measurements" box, and change the "Width" field to "2.8", and the "Height data field to "11". Then, click "OK" to lock in the measurements. These measurements will create one flyer.

      Design the first flyer as you desire by adding the color, images and text of your choice. (Then, repeat Steps 5 through 7 for the second and third flyers.) Save each flyer individually.

      Open a new document. Set the measurements to "8.5 by 11." Then open each bookmark file individually. Copy and paste the flyers on the 8.5 by 11 canvas.
