How to Print Concert Flyers

One way of advertising an upcoming concert is to print out flyers and post them around local cities and towns. People don't have to go out of their way to find out about the event, as they will see the signs while standing in line at the bank, or picking up food from their favorite restaurant. When you create the ads yourself, it is often easier to print them out at home.

Instructions

    • 1

Purchase or find paper. Most concert flyers are printed on standard 8.5 x 11" printer paper. This paper is affordable, and available at most department and office supply stores. If you are creating a limited number of flyers, or planning to hang them in more upscale venues, you may choose to purchase a thicker paper, such as card stock.

    • 2

Place the paper into the printer.

    • 3

Transfer the flyer design onto a computer if it is not already a digital file. Scan the image, or photograph it and upload it to the computer.

    • 4

Open the design in a word processing program.

    • 5

Open the word processing program's print options window.

    • 6

Adjust the paper type and dimensions to suit those of your paper.

    • 7

Enter the number of copies to print.

    • 8

Select "Print" to print the flyers.
