Instructions

    • 1

Cut a piece of floral wire to 6 inches long. Take one round bead and slide it onto the wire. Bend the wire slightly in the middle, and then loop the wire around the bead and bend each end in opposite directions. Give the wire three strong twists as close to the bead as possible, and then straiten out the wire ends together. Slide another bead onto the doubled wire until it covers the twist.

    • 2

Pull the wire ends apart to make a V shape. Slide three beads onto each side of the wire. Bring the wires together to create a circle with the beads and twist the wires three times. Repeat this process so you have two bead circles. Leave extra wire on the end to connect it to the headband. This will be the center piece of your tiara.

    • 3

Cut another 6-inch piece of floral wire. Slide four beads to the middle of the wire, and secure them in a diamond shape by simply bringing each end of the wire together, crisscrossing them where the beads meet and securing the ends together with eight twists. It will look like a small diamond of four beads -- one bead at the bottom, two in the middle and one bead at the top -- with the ends of the wire touching. Be sure to leave extra wire at the end to secure to the headband. Repeat this step three times.

    • 4

Cut another 6-inch piece of floral wire. Repeat step one and then add seven beads onto the doubled wire. Leave extra wire on the end. Repeat this step three times.

    • 5

Secure the center piece of the tiara you made in steps one and two onto the middle of the headband by wrapping the extra wire on the end of the bead circles around the headband. Repeat this process for the other eight wire pieces, securing four pieces to the left and four to the right of the center piece.
