Cut a 10-foot length of speaker wire.
Strip about 1 inch of the plastic sheath away from one end of the wire with the wire strippers, and note the copper wires inside.
Locate the FM antenna hookup on the back of your receiver. This usually says “FM” and has two plastic screw caps underneath.
Tighten the two exposed ends of the speaker wire under the plastic caps.
Turn on your receiver and tune it into a radio station that has a bit of static. Find the best area to put your antenna so that the station comes in clearly.
