Choose the photography package you prefer. As of May 2011, prices range from $425 for a mini session that includes 10 to 12 images, to $1,050 for a full session that includes 30 to 40 images.
Talk with the photographer, when she contacts you, about what kind of portraits you would like. For instance, if you are still expecting your baby, you may want to come in for third-trimester pictures, and then return later for newborn portraits.
Discuss in detail the style of portraits you would like. For example, the photographer can take close-up portraits, indoor studio shots or outdoor active photos with toddlers playing in a garden. You could opt for black-and-white pictures with a velvety, old-fashioned look, or vibrantly colored and funny photographs.
Pay the full price for the session over the phone. This fee reserves your session time. As of May 2011, Catch a Star Photography does not have an online payment option.
