Do it Yourself: Window Gel

Window gels are translucent decorations that stick to glass and glow with incoming light. Also known as clings, they come in the shape of animals, people, buildings and other recognizable forms. Making window gels is simple and can be done overnight.

Things You'll Need

  • Paper
  • Pencil
  • Wax Paper
  • Cookie Sheet
  • Dimensional fabric paint

Instructions

      Draw a template for your window gel with the paper and pencil.

      Cut the template out and cover it with wax paper. Trace the template on the wax paper with the dimensional fabric paint.

    • 3

      Let the fabric paint dry overnight. Peel the fabric paint off of the wax paper and stick the flat side to a window.
