The best way to enjoy this activity is to bring out a pile of paper and have fun creating paper projects with kids. The Family Fun website suggest that kids will love making paper flowers, 3-D paper crafts and various craft decorations; for older children use origami paper to create challenging origami objects.

Each paper project might need specific type of paper; origami needs specific size and thickness so that it can be bent properly and does not rip. When making easy paper projects, printing paper and even cardboard can be used. Use egg carton boxes when making a caterpillars.

    Accessories

    • Using other household products for your paper projects will make it come together.

Bring a pair of scissors, tape and a pen. The scissors will be used to cut and trim various loose ends. The tape can be used to put various paper crafts together: flowers on top of sticks or boats on paper water. A pen is the best way to give the craft some character.

    Voilà
