The Asian American Arts Alliance works in partnership with other funding agencies to provide grants for artists and arts organizations. Each program has specific guidelines and application process where grantees are selected by independent panels of artists, arts administrators and community leaders. Different panelists are invited to review applications every year. The Asian American Arts Alliance - in collaboration with six other organizations - also offers the Urban Artist Initiative, a grants program for New York City-based artists of color.
