How to Make a Scholarship Art Portfolio
Due to the large number of individuals applying for a limited number of art scholarships, an applicant's portfolio is often the deciding factor in determining to which students the scholarships are awarded. Most art portfolios are comprised of 10 to 25 photographic images of finished art pieces. A strong art portfolio is one that features only high-quality work displaying originality, insight and technical excellence. The best portfolios not only reflect an artist's abilities but also his or her capabilities.
