How to Keep a Watercolor Tag Flat
Watercolor tags are gift tags made from watercolor paper. They are meant to be painted. Watercolor tags will bow and ripple when you paint them if they aren't prepared properly. You can prep watercolor tags for painting by using a method called "sizing." Sizing is basically making the paper absorb water while it is being held in place. Once the paper tag is sized and dried, it can be the canvas for your watercolor techniques and any other decorating techniques.
