Red River Valley Museum sponsors an annual juried art show open to artists across the world who are 18 and older. Categories of accepted art include watercolor, sculpture, oil/acrylic and graphics/pastel/mixed media. Each applicant must submit an application, slides of his work and an entry fee. All work must be original and offered for sale. The show begins with a gala opening event called the "Denim and Diamonds" evening with a gourmet reception, chamber music and artwork viewing. Winners receive cash awards presented at the reception. The evening finishes off with live country music and a barbecue on the museum's grounds.

The Live Oak Art Center holds an annual juried art show open to artists who live within 150 miles of Columbus, Texas. Entries of all media are encouraged, including sculpture, photography, painting, ceramics and works on paper. First, second and third place winners receive cash awards. While not required, the show encourages entrants to offer their works for sale. Each applicant must submit an entry form, fee and slides of her work. Artists may attend the opening reception, where awards are presented.

Art in the Square is a three-day annual juried art festival hosted by the Southlake Women's Club. More than 140 artists from around the world participate with artwork in media including sculpture, photography, painting and ceramics. Each artists must submit an application, slides of his work and an application fee. The event features a separate juried art show for local high school students. The festival, which takes place at Southlake Town Square, is free to the public and includes children's arts and crafts, a large food court and musical entertainment.
