Experience and Education
- B.A. degree in theater or related field
- Experience in set construction and design
- Strong knowledge of theater history and design principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the director, playwright, and other designers to develop a scenic concept for the production
- Design and create sets and props that support the vision of the play and enhance the audience experience
- Manage the construction and installation of sets and props
- Oversee the maintenance of sets and props throughout the production run
- Work closely with the technical director and stage manager to ensure that sets and props are used effectively in the performance
- Manage budgets and schedules for set construction and design
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors for materials and services
- Stay up-to-date on current trends in theater design
