For women, the traditional costume consists of a malong, a long and wrap-around skirt with intricate patterns or embroidery. They also wear a blouse or tapis underneath the malong, along with a colorful sash around the waist and various accessories like necklaces, bracelets, and earrings.
Headpieces and accessories play an important role in completing the Binislakan costume. Headdresses are often adorned with flowers or feathers, while jewelry and accessories are made from indigenous materials like beads and brass.
The costumes showcase the rich cultural heritage and diverse traditional costumes of the people who participate in and celebrate the Binislakan Festival.
