Did Romeo and Juliet both wear mask when they met each other?

Romeo and Juliet did not wear masks when they first met each other.

They first encountered each other at a Capulet masquerade ball, where guests customarily wear masks. However, Romeo removes his mask before introducing himself to Juliet. From that point on, they interact without masks throughout the play.
