Why have Hamlet and two friends arranged for the theatrical troupe to perform at palace?

In the play "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare, Hamlet and his friends do not arrange for a theatrical troupe to perform at the palace. It is Hamlet who comes up with the idea to have a play performed before his uncle, King Claudius, but it is not mentioned that he involves any of his friends in this plan.
