When did theatre start?

Theatre has its origins in ancient times. Some of the earliest evidence of theatrical performances dates back to the 5th century BCE in Greece, where religious festivals included dramatic performances. However, it is believed that theatrical traditions may have existed even earlier in other cultures around the world.
