What do actors spend much of their time doing?

Actors spend significant amounts of time rehearsing scripts and practicing specific scenes or lines until they become second nature. It involves reading, breaking down characters' motivations, memorising dialogue, developing mannerisms, and working with directors and fellow actors to refine performances. Rehearsals also incorporate physical training, choreography, vocal practices, and emotional explorations necessary for effective portrayals of characters.
