What is about to take place when act 2 scene 6 ends in Romeo and Juliet?

At the end of Act 2, Scene 6, Romeo and Juliet have just been married in secret by Friar Laurence. Romeo and Juliet are overjoyed and express their love for each other. Friar Laurence warns them to be moderate in their love and to avoid extremes, as excessive passion can lead to disaster. He then leaves them to celebrate their wedding.
