What does king duncan do in act 1?
King Duncan arrives at Macbeth's castle in Inverness and is welcomed as an honoured guest. He is impressed with Macbeth's reports of valour, and decides to stay the night. After Duncan has retired to his chamber, Lady Macbeth persuades Macbeth to murder him, and the crime is committed. Duncan's body is found the following morning, and Macbeth is crowned king.
