Where did they get the wood to build Globe Theatre?

The timber used to construct the Globe Theatre is believed to have come from Hertfordshire in England. The construction of the theatre required a significant amount of timber, including oak for the frame and beams, and pine for the boards and flooring. It is estimated that around 1,200 pine trees and 300 oak trees were felled to provide the necessary materials. The wood was transported to London via the River Thames, which would have been the most efficient and cost-effective method of transportation at the time.
