Where did merchants sit in the globe theatre?

There was no seating specifically designated for merchants in the Globe Theatre. People of all social classes attended plays at the Globe, and their seating was determined by how much they were willing to pay. The most expensive seats were in the galleries, which offered the best views of the stage. The cheapest seats were in the pit, which was essentially a standing-room area in front of the stage.
