Why the Globe Theatre still standing?

The Globe Theatre that stands today is not the original theatre from Shakespeare's time. The original Globe Theatre was built in 1599 and was destroyed by fire in 1613. The current Globe Theatre is a reconstruction that was built in 1997 based on the design of the original theatre.
