Ask a representative about the step-by-step process necessary to obtain a license in your state. EINs and business licenses give an entrepreneur tax withholding, unemployment tax information, and additional state and federal tax requirements.
Obtain all necessary permissions. Contact the Chamber of Commerce in your community about acquiring all necessary building, health, zoning and occupational permits. Ask about signage, parking and alarm permissions as well.
Order all auto parts. Establish relationships with auto part dealers. Build your business facility. Hire and train employees. Schedule a grand opening. Issue a press release announcing the start of your business. Create a website or social networking page to spread the word about your shop too.
