Why Christine want to meet Raoul at the beginning of phantom opera?
In Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical "The Phantom of the Opera", Christine Daaé doesn't want to meet Raoul at the beginning of the story. In fact, she is quite shy and unsure of herself, and she is more focused on her studies and aspirations to become a singer than on romance.
It's the mysterious voice of the "Angel of Music" who begins to haunt her dreams and draws her attention. As the story progresses, she gradually develops a romantic relationship with Raoul, but it's not the primary driving factor behind her actions or motivations at the start of the musical.
