Why is Katniss drawn in by Rue the girl from District Eleven?

Rue is a girl from District 11 who is chosen as the tribute for the 74th Hunger Games. Like Katniss, Rue is from a poor district and is forced to participate in the Games against her will. At the beginning of the Games, Rue reaches out to Katniss, seeking a common ground. Katniss finds an ally in Rue, and they work together to help each other survive.

The relationship between Katniss and Rue is symbolic of the struggles faced by people in oppressed societies. Katniss and Rue are both from districts that are controlled by the Capitol and are forced to live in poverty and fear. Their friendship demonstrates the power of unity and solidarity in the face of oppression, as well as the importance of compassion and kindness in a harsh and unforgiving world.
