Early life and career
Di Adamo was born in Fondi, Italy, and immigrated to Canada with his family when he was eight years old. He grew up in Welland, Ontario, and graduated from the University of Ottawa with a degree in law. After law school, he worked as a Crown prosecutor in Toronto.
Political career
Di Adamo was first elected to public office in 2006, when he was elected as a town councillor in Pelham, Ontario. He served on council for two terms, and was deputy mayor from 2010 to 2012.
In 2015, Di Adamo was elected as the Member of Parliament for Welland. He was re-elected in 2019.
Di Adamo is a member of the Liberal Party. He is the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada.
Personal life
Di Adamo is married to Franca Di Renzo, and they have two children.
