What opera did Claude Debussy write?

Claude Debussy composed only one complete opera, "Pelléas et Mélisande", with a libretto based on the symbolist play of the same name by Maurice Maeterlinck. "Pelléas et Mélisande" is considered a masterpiece of Impressionist opera and is known for its use of subtle orchestration, atmospheric harmonies, and fluid vocal lines. The opera premiered in 1902 and has since become one of Debussy's most celebrated works.
