What do musicals need to be a musical?

* Songs: Musicals must have songs, and the songs must be able to tell the story and move the plot along. The songs can be any genre, but they must be catchy and memorable.

* Dance: Musicals should also have dance numbers. The dances can help to tell the story, provide comedic relief, or simply entertain the audience.

* Acting: Musicals require good acting, just like any other type of theater. The actors must be able to sing, dance, and act, and they must be able to connect with the audience.

* Costumes: The costumes in a musical should be creative and help to set the scene.

* Sets: The sets in a musical should be visually appealing and help to create the atmosphere of the show.

* Lighting: The lighting in a musical can help to create the mood of the show.

* Sound: The sound in a musical can help to create the atmosphere and enhance the performance.

All of these elements are necessary for a musical to be successful. If even one of these elements is missing, the musical will suffer.
