2. Everyman is Summoned
* Everyman is summoned by Death to come before God and give an account for his life.
Everyman is terrified and tries to find ways to avoid going with Death, but he is unable to escape.
3. Everyman Seeks Companions
* Everyman goes to his friends and relatives for help but they all refuse to help him, saying that they are too busy with their own lives.
4. Everyman Meets Good Deeds
* Everyman meets Good Deeds, but she cannot go with him because she is too weak from Everyman's neglect of her. Everyman is now alone and must face Death alone.
5. Everyman Confronts Death
* Everyman prays for mercy and God sends Knowledge, Discretion, Strength, Beauty, and Five-Wits to help him, but they all leave him at the edge of the grave, and Everyman is left alone to face Death.
6. Everyman Dies
* Everyman is forgiven for his sins and his soul is taken up to heaven, where he is welcomed into everlasting paradise.
