What did the three apparitions tell Macbeth?

1. That Macbeth would be Thane of Cawdor. This came true when King Duncan named Macbeth Thane of Cawdor after the previous Thane was executed for treason.

2. That Macbeth would be King of Scotland. This also came true when Macbeth killed King Duncan and took the throne for himself.

3. That Macbeth should beware of Macduff. This warning proved accurate when Macduff eventually led the forces that defeated Macbeth and restored the Scottish throne to Malcolm, Duncan's son.
