Abigail: They will be, I saw it. I saw Judge Danforth sign their death warrants.
Mercy: Oh, Abigail, what are we going to do?
Abigail: I don't know, but we have to do something. We can't let them hang innocent people.
Mercy: But what can we do?
Abigail: I don't know. (after a moment) But I'll think of something.
Mercy: Be careful, Abigail. If they find out you're lying, you'll be hanged too.
Abigail: I know. But I'm not going to let them hang innocent people.
Mercy: Please, Abigail, be careful.
