What happened after romeo killed Tybalt?

Romeo was sentenced to banishment by the Prince of Verona for killing Tybalt. This meant that he had to leave Verona and could not return until the time period imposed ended. This greatly affects Romeo and Juliet’s relationship due to them only just getting married after a couple days earlier as it is very unlikely they will see and spend time with each other ever again unless Romeo stays in hiding and secretly meets her until it is safe for him to return again.
