Why did romeo and Juliet both kill themselves?
Romeo and Juliet killed themselves because they felt that they had no other choice. They were both young and in love, but they were forbidden to be together by their families. Romeo was banished from Verona for killing Juliet's cousin, and Juliet was forced to marry Paris. When Romeo returned to Verona, he found Juliet unconscious in her tomb. He mistakenly believed that she was dead and killed himself. When Juliet woke up and found Romeo dead, she killed herself too.
