When did Ginny Weasley get trapped in the chamber of secrets?

Ginny Weasley was not trapped in the Chamber of Secrets. It was Harry Potter who got trapped in the Chamber of Secrets in 1992, during his second year at Hogwarts. Ginny was the one who was possessed by Tom Riddle's diary and was being used to open the Chamber.
