Why did edward scissorhands kill Jim?

Edward Scissorhands did not kill Jim.

This seems to be a misunderstanding of the film's plot. In Tim Burton's movie "Edward Scissorhands," Edward is framed for the murder of Jim, the boyfriend of Peg (the woman who brings Edward into her home).

Here's what actually happens:

* The Real Killer: The real killer is Peg's jealous neighbor, who is trying to sabotage Peg's relationship with Jim.

* The Frame-Up: The neighbor uses Edward's scissor hands to create a fake scene that makes it look like Edward killed Jim.

* Edward's Innocence: Edward is innocent and was actually trying to help Jim when the neighbor attacked him.

The film focuses on the themes of misunderstanding, prejudice, and how easily people can be manipulated by appearances. Edward is seen as a monster because of his unique appearance, even though he is actually a kind and gentle soul.
