Elmer Fudd is a fictional cartoon character who appears in the Warner Bros. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series of animated short films. He is a hunter who is constantly trying to catch Bugs Bunny, but always fails. Elmer's character is often portrayed as being dim-witted and easily fooled by Bugs Bunny's tricks.
