Comedy Clubs in Oregon

While Oregon may not be the first state people think of in terms of comedy, it is home to numerous comedy clubs. Portland, one of Oregon's busiest cities, hosts most of the comedy clubs, but others can be found outside of Portland as well.

  1. ComedySportz Arena

    • ComedySportz Arena is home to the improv team ComedySportz. This improv show has been running for 17 seasons and has yet to miss a weekend performance since May 1993, making it Portland's longest-running comedy show. ComedySportz puts on an all-ages show on weekends, but also has a separate kids only show on select Sunday afternoons. Tickets for the show are $12 in advance, but door tickets are also purchasable if available.

    Curious Comedy Theater

    • Comedy is something taken seriously at Curious Comedy Theater. This theater is notable for being the first non-profit comedy theater in Portland, dedicated to spreading comedy through improv, film, and stage production. In addition to performing shows, Curious Comedy Theater offers adult and teen comedy improv training classes. There are also classes available via partnerships with non-profit organizations like Boys and Girls Club.

    Harvey's Comedy Club

    • Harvey's Comedy Club combines comedy with a dinner show. Shows here are performed from Thursday through Sunday, with some headliners offering Wednesday shows as well. You can also book the private banquet room for parties or special events to have food and entertainment for an evening. General admission to Harvey's is $15, but those wanting a more VIP experience can purchase special tickets for $40. These VIP tickets cut out waiting in line, offer guaranteed seating, give access to premium tables with linens, and offer special VIP food and drink.

    Seven Feathers Cabaret Lounge

    • The Cabaret Lounge is located within the Seven Feathers Casino. This lounge hosts several different acts that come through the casino, such as musicians and speakers. In addition, the lounge plays host to several different comedy acts, most notably the Comedy Showcase. The Comedy Showcase features an array of comedians nightly with free admission and a two-drink minimum.
