Are there bad words in Pirates of the Caribbean 2?

While "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" is rated PG-13 for adventure violence, there are no "bad words" (i.e. profanity) used in the movie.

It's worth noting that the movie does contain:

* Violence: There are sword fights, explosions, and other scenes of action that might be considered violent for younger viewers.

* Scary scenes: Some scenes may be frightening for young children.

* Some suggestive content: There are a few suggestive scenes, particularly involving Jack Sparrow's character.

Ultimately, whether the movie is appropriate for a child depends on the individual child's maturity and sensitivity to these elements.
