What happened to the portrait of Edith Bouvier Beale featured in movie and documentary?

There are two portraits of Edith Bouvier Beale that were featured in the documentary and film "Grey Gardens". The first was painted by her father, Phelan Beale, in the 1920s. This portrait was last seen at the Grey Gardens sale in 2018, and is currently considered lost. The second portrait was of Edith as a child, and is still in possession of the Bouvier family.
