How do you write a works cited page for song?

To write a works cited page entry for a song, follow these guidelines:

Artist Name. "Song Title." Album Title. Record Label, Year.

For example:

The Beatles. "Let It Be." _Let It Be_. Apple, 1970.

If the song is available online, you may also include the URL and date accessed:

The Beatles. "Let It Be." _Let It Be_. Apple, 1970. [Online]. Available: www.thebeatles.com [Accessed: 20 May 2020].

Additional information:

* If the song is part of a compilation album, include the name of the compilation album instead of the original album title.

* If the song is a single, include the single's title instead of the album title.

* If the song is available online but does not have a specific URL, you can include the name of the streaming service where it can be found (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube).
