It's Friday, and I'm feeling fine,
I've got money in my pocket, and a church's chicken on my mind.
Chicken wings and chicken livers galore
I might even get some of the gizzards, oh gosh I love them more
I'm gonna eat them til' they come outta' my eyes,
And then I'll eat some more,
They're so good, I can't tell any lies,
I love Church's Chicken, yes Lord!
I don't care if it's a sin
Gonna eat fried chicken even though I'm supposed to be thin.
And I'm not gonna stop until my stomach says,
"Uncle Kenny quit or you will pop."
Now some folks say it's a waste of money,
To sit down and eat,
They'd rather buy that chicken live and bring it home to eat.
But what they don't know,
Is they can bring that chicken on home
But then they gonna have to pluck it and clean it,
Oh what a chore.
So they should take a clue,
And just come down to Church's too,
Let them do all the work,
And have that chicken all cleaned and jerked.
I'm not saying it's fancy,
But it is oh so nice.
And it can sure take the place,
Of that big Sunday chicken dinner of your choice.

It'll put a big smile on you.

Now what in the world could be bad about that,
Not one single thing that I could imagine
