Determine what you want the game to be about. After you come up with a type of game, you can create rules and a point system to begin playing. Think of an easy concept, such as the alphabet, to try and guess songs by. "Finish the lyric" games are also fun, or a "Who sang that song?" trivia game can take your mind for a jog.
Come up with at least 2-3 easy rules for the game. Jot them down on a piece of paper to keep track of them as they're created. Depending on the age of the participants of the game, you may want to make some rules simpler than others.
Create a point system. An established scoring system will keep things fair and help determine an overall winner by the end of the game. Use a pen and paper to keep track of participants' scores, or assign a score keeper for the game.
Choose a method of song. You may want to play using a radio or simply hum songs to play the game. Work with the resources you have around you.
Create a reward for the winner. Whether it's fictional or you actually have something to give them, offering a reward will persuade more people to participate in the game.
