Where is sangrur?
Sangrur is a city and a district headquarter located in the
Malwa region of the
Indian state of Punjab. It is situated on the banks of the
Bhakra Main Line canal, about 114 kilometers (71 miles) west of the state capital, Chandigarh. Sangrur is known for its historical Gurdwaras, including the Gurdwara Shri Manji Sahib and Gurdwara Shri Keshgarh Sahib, which attract a large number of Sikh pilgrims. The city also serves as an important agricultural hub and is renowned for its production of wheat and rice.
