What is Illinois state song?

The state song of Illinois is "Illinois." Originally titled "Illinois Loyalty," the original tune of the song (different from the version now referred to as "Illinois"—written and composed by Charles H. Chamberlain). The words for both songs are the same and were written by C. M. Condon. On June 27, 1925, "Illinois" and its music by Archibald Johnston as the official state song; this rendition is the one sung today.
