How to Burn a Karaoke Disc

Karaoke music is not inexpensive, and if you spend a lot of time at home practicing or just having fun you don't want to lose your investment. Make a backup copy of the disc you want to use instead of using the original. Copying Karaoke discs is a different of process from copying movies or games, because the media is unique.

Instructions

  1. Copying Karaoke CDs

    • 1

Remove your karaoke music CD from its case and insert it into your CD burner on your computer.

    • 2

Open CloneCD and select "Copy CD" from the menu.

    • 3

Select "Disc At Once Recording" and make sure "Read Subchannel from Audio and Video" is selected.

    • 4

      Click to run or copy.

    • 5

CloneCD will read your media and prepare an image file to burn onto the new disc. When finished, CloneCD will prompt you for your target disc and (if you are only using 1 CD burner) will eject the source disc.

    • 6

Remove the source disc and replace it with the CD-G blank and close the drawer. CloneCD will read the media and will alert you to any errors if there is not enough space or the disc is damaged.

    • 7

Click "Burn or Copy" on the CloneCD dashboard. It will then burn the image it made form the source disc onto your target disc.

    • 8

Upon completion CloneCD will alert you to any problems with the burn. If there are none it will prompt you that it was successful and eject the disc. It will then ask if you wish to make another copy. If not, you may save the project for later use if need be and the image file will be stored locally.
