Where did Demi Lovato start singing?

Demi Lovato started singing at the age of 7, when she started taking singing lessons with a vocal coach in Dallas, Texas. She participated in talent shows and other events, and also sang in the church choir. At the age of 10, she moved to Los Angeles with her family to pursue a career in acting and singing. She soon landed roles in several television shows and movies, and also released her debut album in 2008.
